How To Properly Apply Concealer
Concealer is one of the most important products in any woman’s beauty store. Many women are afraid of concealers because they don’t know how to find the right shade or apply it properly. 1. Concealers can be used to cover blemishes, dark spots, ruddy areas, marks, veins, freckles or under eye circles. Your concealer should be one shade lighter than your foundation.
2. The type of concealer you need depend upon the skin problem you have. Select a concealer most appropriate for the area you wish to cover.
3. Apply several dots of concealer under the eyes and then use the pad of your middle finger to tap it in.
4. Rub the concealer in circles, blending the edges with the skin and foundation around the blemish.
5. Apply a powder top-coat to help the concealer blend in and last longer.
6. For ruddiness and blemishes that are pink or red, choose a green-based concealer.
7. If you have problems with scars or a birth mark, you will want to find a concealer that is completely opaque.
